Rolex celebrates a century of innovation with a new generation of iconic timepieces

Rolex

100 YEARS OF ACHIEVEMENTS

In Geneva, during Watches and Wonders 2026, Rolex marks a historic moment. Exactly one century after the introduction of the first waterproof wristwatch—the legendary Oyster from 1926—the brand unveils a collection that not only looks back but, above all, looks ahead. A new world is beginning, driven by technical excellence, material innovation, and an aesthetic that evokes emotion. One hundred years later, Rolex continues to push boundaries and open up new possibilities.

A New Standard in Certification

The new models are built for the future with an enhanced Superlative Chronometer certification, updated materials, and unprecedented refinement in artistic dials. With this certification, Rolex underscores its ongoing pursuit of perfection through three new criteria: resistance to magnetism, reliability, and durability. Since the certification was revised in 2015, four criteria have been central: accuracy, water resistance, automatic winding, and power reserve. Today, these three new standards are being added to that list.

Oyster Perpetual 41

AN ECHO OF WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The new Oyster Perpetual 41 is a tribute to the first Oyster, the essence of time, and an echo of where it all began. In a brand-new yellow Rolesor configuration, Rolex combines steel and yellow gold in a way that feels both modern and historic. The bezel and crown in 18-karat yellow gold subtly reference the first Oyster models.

The dial features several nods to the anniversary year:

  • the number 100 on the crown,
  • the text“100 years”at 6 o’clock,
  • green Rolex accents, a color deeply rooted in the brand’s DNA.

This OP41 is also the first model to meet the enhanced Superlative Chronometer certification of 2026, a new standard that further sharpens Rolex’s pursuit of perfection.

"With this collection, Rolex once again reaffirms its unique position in the world of watches."

Oyster Perpetual 36

LETTERS OF CLASS

An explosion of color, a celebration of craftsmanship. The Oyster Perpetual 36 shines with a multicolored lacquered dial, adorned with the Jubilee motif in which the letters of “Rolex” form a playful yet refined pattern.

Each color—ten in total—is applied individually using pad printing, a process that requires exceptional precision. The result is a dial that not only radiates beauty but also underscores Rolex’s artistic mastery in dial craftsmanship.

Oyster Perpetual 28 & 34

A NEW GOLDEN AGE

Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold or Everose gold, the OP28 and OP34 offer a understated yet luxurious interpretation of the iconic Oyster. The satin-brushed bracelet lends a tactile, almost silky appearance.

For the first time, Rolex has used natural gemstones for the hour markers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. These unexpected, precious details bring a new dimension of refinement to the Oyster Perpetual line.

Datejust 41

NO LIGHT WITHOUT SHADOW

The Datejust 41 in white Rolesor features an ombré green lacquered dial that transitions from light to dark. The combination of white gold, steel, a fluted bezel, and the iconic green hue makes this model one of the most recognizable and elegant configurations of 2026.

The date stands out even more clearly thanks to the contrast with the dark edge of the dial. A subtle yet meaningful evolution of one of Rolex’s most timeless creations.

Yacht-Master II

MASTERING THE RACE AGAINST TIME

The new generation of the Yacht-Master II is sleeker, more modern, and more functional. The regatta chronograph has been completely redesigned:

  • countdown programming via a single pusher,
  • new hands that rotate counterclockwise for improved readability,
  • a simplified, more professional dial.

Powered by the updated Caliber 4162, this watch is a technical masterpiece that gives sailors maximum control during the crucial start phase of a regatta.

Day-Date 40

THE NEW SPLENDOR OF PRESTIGE

Crafted in 18-karat Jubilee Gold—an entirely new alloy developed by Rolex—the Day-Date 40 shimmers in soft shades of yellow, gray, and rose. The pale green aventurine dial harmonizes perfectly with the warm glow of the metal.

This model embodies the essence of prestige and once again showcases Rolex’s mastery in working with precious metals.

Cosmograph Daytona

DRIVEN BY MASTERY

The new Cosmograph Daytona Rolesium combines Oystersteel with platinum and introduces a unique aesthetic:

  • a white enamel dial,
  • an anthracite Cerachrom bezel with tungsten carbide,
  • horizontal “floating” numerals, inspired by the first Daytona.

For the first time, a Daytona reveals its inner workings through a sapphire crystal case back, framed by a platinum ring.

A Century of Perfection, a Future of Innovation

With this collection, Rolex once again reaffirms its unique position in the world of watchmaking. Each model serves as a bridge between the past and the future, between tradition and progress. The green Superlative Chronometer seal symbolizes a promise: unmatched performance, reliability, and durability. Rolex started a revolution in 1926. In 2026, a new one will begin.
