Panerai’s 2026 line-up is a bold reaffirmation of its origins as the secret supplier of precision instruments to the Royal Italian Navy. As the brand states, “Heritage is not a constraint but the very starting point for its evolution,” a sentiment echoed throughout the new Luminor releases.
Drawing directly from the iconic 6152/1 architecture of the 1960s,
Panerai introduces a suite of manual wind watches that merge historical authenticity with contemporary engineering.
Brunito steel, modern soul
The PAM01733 is a tribute to the original 47 mm Luminor, reimagined in a wearable 44 mm case with a hand-finished Brunito treatment. Each Brunito case differs slightly due to the individual work done on every component, giving every watch a unique patina-like character.
Powered by the P.5000 calibre, the watch delivers eight days of autonomy – an homage to the Angelus SF240 movement used in the 1950s GPF 2/56.
A month of power, a showcase of innovation
Panerai pushes boundaries with its first-ever 31 day power reserve. The skeletonised P.2031/S calibre uses four barrels and 3.3 meters of mainspring to deliver unprecedented autonomy. A patent pending Torque Limiter ensures optimal chronometry by selecting the ideal 31 day performance window. Housed in a 44 mm Panerai Goldtech™ case, the watch blends technical mastery with luxurious presence.
The 44 mm heritage duo
These two references reinterpret the 6152/1 case in 44 mm, complete with domed sapphire crystal and the hand wound P.6000 calibre.
The PAM01731 features a tobacco sandwich dial with small seconds, while the Destro PAM01732 offers a left hand crown configuration and a clean matte blue dial. Both deliver 300 meter water resistance and vintage style straps.
"Heritage is not a constraint but the very starting point for its evolution."
The 47 mm icons reborn
The PAM01735 embraces the tropical dial aesthetic with an ivory to brown gradient and the robust P.3000 calibre.
The Submersible GMT Navy SEALs Afniotech™ Experience Edition PAM01089 represents one of Panerai’s most ambitious explorations of performance-driven watchmaking. Conceived as a professional instrument for extreme environments, the watch pushes the boundaries of underwater resistance and advanced material performance.
A collection rooted in the brand’s identity
"Panerai’s 2026 novelties are not mere reinterpretations; they are a reaffirmation of the brand’s identity."
